Our server will not boot. What should we do first?
Do not keep power-cycling it, and do not run repair tools on the drives. Call us; the first job is protecting the data, and most servers can be brought back or their data recovered.
Should we repair our old server or replace it?
If it is more than five or six years old, replacement — or a move to virtual or cloud — usually costs less over the next two years than keeping it alive. We will give you both numbers.
Can you migrate our server with no downtime?
Close to it. Data is synchronised ahead of time and the final switch-over happens outside business hours, typically in an evening or over a weekend.
